Monthly Meeting Tradition
For 50 years, the third Tuesday of each month was a special time for Santa Barbara sculptors. Members would gather at 7:00 PM at the Louise Lowery Davis Center for an evening of inspiration, education, and community.
Typical meetings included:
- Welcome and announcements from guild leadership
- Guest speakers from the art world
- Live demonstrations of sculptural techniques
- Member show-and-tell of works in progress
- Refreshments and networking
These gatherings were open to both members and guests interested in learning about sculpture.
